
Raising awareness regarding ear health is very important because once you damage your hearing ability, it is gone for good.
Here are ways you can protect your hearing health
Stop using ear buds to clean wax out of your ear canal because ears are self-cleaning organs, and wax stops dust and other harmful particles from entering the canal and also ear buds can damage your ear drum.
Keep your ears dry. Excess moisture can allow bacteria to enter and attack the ear canal. This can cause swimmer’s ear or other types of ear infections, which can be dangerous for your hearing ability.
If your ear is exposed to loud noises for a long period of time for eg, concerts, clubs etc. Give rest to your ears, either by using earplugs or stepping out for a while.
Cardio exercises like walking, running, or cycling gets the blood pumping to all parts of your body, including the ears.
Get regular check-ups done in order to recognize signs of hearing loss and take action as soon as possible.
